Your vibrant "Scarlet Emperor" pole bean will be judged by our panel of experts based on the following categories:

  • LargestScarlet Runner Bean
  • Longest
  • Most Unusual
  • Pathetic

Scarlet Emporers are grown for their large clusters of beautiful flowers as well as for their tender tasty pods. They are an ideal chocie for screens and trellises or can be grown in pots on the deck. Sow beans 3.5 cm (1.5 inches) deep, but not until the ground warms up in mid-May to July.

Any Questions? Call Norm or Betty 604-886-1263.
